A.B.A. Machine & Welding is certified by Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). Our Welding Tradesmen are regularly tested by CWB.
In 2012 A.B.A. Machine & Welding, through Compassion Canada, sponsored a little girl named Dirci from Honduras. With our sponsorship we gave Dirci new opportunities to learn and grow physically, mentally & spiritually.
Over the years our employees and their families have written to Dirci and sent her pictures and stickers. Dirci would also write back to A.B.A. telling us what she likes to do, what she has been learning, telling us about her family and also would draw us pictures.
With our contributions to Dirci she has been able to take Taek Wan Do classes, go shopping with her mom to buy clothes, shoes, a backpack and PE uniform. She also bought a wardrobe to put her clothes in.
Dirci attened Church and school on a regular basis. She loved school because she made many friends. Over the years we were able to watch Dirci grow up through photos that she would send us.
In 2015 A.B.A. was informed that Dirci and her family had moved away from the area, which was too far from the project to attend, and was no longer part of the Compassion program.
With the support of A.B.A. Dirci is healthy and free from poverty related diseases such as malnutrition, tuberculosis, intestinal parasites, respiratory infections and diarrhea. She interacts and plays well with others in a healthy and compassionate manner appropriate to her age. She shows respect to others, shares with others and participates in group activities. She finished grade 6 (Elementary School) and was going to middle school.
A.B.A. was happy to have been able to sponsor Dirci and when this sponsorship ended we contacted Compassion Canada and sponsored another child.
